Farming & Felting
Week 1 of the 2010 Summer Intensive wrapped up with a farm trip on Friday where we learned about barn reconstruction, mended fences, cleared pastures, hung a gate, had a bonfire + amazing food, swam, roasted marshmallows, played with puppies, and on and on… Many thanks to Rhoda and Rachel for hosting us!
And on Saturday, visiting artist Hope Ginsburg lead us in a fabulous felt-making workshop where we collaborated on two large felt rugs while also making our own individual felt pieces.
